A common story: the site is done, looks decent, and there are no enquiries. Usually it is not the design. The page is simply missing a few blocks that lead a person from interest to action. Below are five blocks a landing page is half-working without, and a short checklist before launch.
Block 1. The offer on the first screen. Within 5 seconds a visitor should understand three things: what you offer, for whom, and what to do next. Not "Welcome", but specifics: "A turnkey website for a specialist or small business, from 200 EUR, in 5 days". One main button beside it.
Block 2. Proof. People need reasons to believe you: real work, reviews with names and links to client sites, numbers (timing, results). Three genuine reviews beat ten anonymous ones.
Block 3. Price and timing. The fear of overpaying stops more people than the price itself. If you write "from 200 EUR" and what that includes, the question "how much is it" stops being a barrier. More here: How much a website costs and what drives the price.
Block 4. A three-field form. Name, contact, a short message. Every extra field lowers the number of enquiries. Phone and address can be clarified in the conversation. After sending, the person sees a clear confirmation: "Got it, I will reply within a day".
Block 5. Messengers next to the form. Many people dislike forms and would rather write in Telegram or WhatsApp. A messenger button beside the form brings in the enquiries the form scared off.
What to check before you start advertising:
- Speed. The page should open in under 2 seconds, otherwise some visitors leave before it loads. Static files on a CDN solve this almost effortlessly.
- Mobile. More than half of visitors come from a smartphone: big buttons, readable text, a form that does not break.
- HTTPS and an address with no browser warnings.
- Enquiries reach you immediately, for example in Telegram, instead of sitting in an inbox for a week.
- Analytics: you can see where people came from and how many reached the form.
How I do it. A landing page starts from 200 EUR and takes 2-5 days: offer, proof, price, a form with a Telegram notification, messengers, analytics, mobile layout. Hosting is on Cloudflare, so the site is fast and support costs almost nothing. How to prepare before ordering: How to order a website without overpaying. What happens after launch: Website support after launch.
One caveat. A good site raises the chance of an enquiry but does not replace traffic: without visitors there are no enquiries, however good the page is. So first the site, then search and advertising.
